Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about what Limonene does, how it connects to your Amazon account, and what it costs — no marketing spin.
About Limonene
Who makes Limonene?
Limonene is built by Zed Axis Technologies. It was founded and built by an active Amazon FBA/FBM seller who built it for his own store first — not a theoretical product.
Is Limonene an official or approved tool?
Yes. Limonene is listed on the official Amazon Selling Partner Appstore, approved through Amazon's own app review, and connects to seller accounts exclusively via the official SP-API — never scraping or password sharing. Limonene also has an approved listing on G2.
What makes Limonene different from other seller tools?
Limonene is AI-first: a frontier-model AI store manager grounded in your own live store data, not a dashboard with a chatbot bolted on. It's the only tool in its category with a production-proven Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) e-invoicing integration — real receipts accepted by the tax authority, not just a sandbox demo. And instead of charts you have to interpret yourself, it finds money you're already owed and drafts the fix.
Does Limonene work for sellers outside MENA?
Yes. The SP-API integration isn't region-locked — Limonene supports any Amazon marketplace the Selling Partner API supports, and the interface ships in 10 languages. MENA (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE) is the primary focus market, not a limit.
Basics
What is Limonene?
Limonene is an AI-first operations copilot for Amazon sellers. It connects to your Seller Central account through the official Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API), continuously scans your store, and turns what it finds — stockouts, stranded inventory, a lost Buy Box, money Amazon owes you — into ranked, one-click fixes. It was built by an active Amazon FBA/FBM seller, for his own store first.
How is Limonene different from a normal analytics dashboard?
Most seller tools show you charts and leave the analysis to you. Limonene is AI-first: a background insight engine re-scans every connected store on a fixed cycle, ranks what it finds by dollar impact, and attaches an executable one-click action wherever one exists — raise a price, request a removal, match the Buy Box, draft a reimbursement claim. You approve every write; Limonene does the finding and the drafting, not just the charting.
Which Amazon marketplaces does Limonene support?
The primary focus is Amazon Egypt (amazon.eg), Saudi Arabia (amazon.sa), and the UAE (amazon.ae) — Arabic-native seller tooling is close to nonexistent for this segment. The underlying SP-API integration isn't region-locked: Limonene supports any Amazon marketplace the Selling Partner API supports, including the US, UK, and EU.
Does Limonene support FBM, or only FBA?
Both. Egypt and the wider MENA region skew heavily merchant-fulfilled (FBM — called "MFN" inside Amazon's own API), and most competitor tools only look at FBA inventory. Limonene's insight generators, including stockout and running-out warnings, run on FBA and FBM listings alike.
Which languages does Limonene support?
Arabic and English are Limonene's native languages, not machine-translated — including a fully correct right-to-left layout for Arabic. The interface ships in 10 UI languages in total.
Safety & trust
Is it safe to connect my Amazon account to Limonene?
Yes. Limonene connects only through the official Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) using OAuth from Seller Central — it never asks for or sees your Amazon password, and never scrapes your account. Refresh tokens are encrypted at rest, and you can revoke access at any time with one click in Seller Central.
Can Limonene change my prices or listings without my permission?
No. Every write action — a price change, a removal order, a listing edit — requires an explicit two-step confirmation with a visible "LIVE" indicator before it touches your Amazon account. Settings has a master kill switch that halts the insight engine, repricer, review requests, and inventory sync within one cycle, plus a full audit log of every write Limonene has made.
What data does Limonene access — and what does it not access?
Limonene holds SP-API roles for inventory and order tracking, pricing, finance and accounting, fulfillment, product listing, and buyer communication — the roles its shipped features actually use. It does not request or hold any restricted or PII role: no buyer name or address access, because no feature needs it.
Is my data sold to anyone?
No. Limonene does not sell seller data. See the full policy at /privacy and the data-protection detail at /security.
Pricing & money
How much does Limonene cost?
Limonene is free during early access (2026) — every feature, no credit card required. Planned tiers after early access ends are published in advance: Starter from $9.99/mo, Pro $29/mo. Early-access sellers get advance notice before anything changes and a founding discount. Full detail: /pricing.
How do Amazon reimbursements work with Limonene?
Limonene reconciles your own financial-events ledger — the last 180 days, the limit of what Amazon's Finances API returns — against warehouse loss and damage adjustment codes, and drafts a ready-to-paste, bilingual claim. You file it yourself through Seller Central: Limonene detects and drafts, you submit, and Amazon reviews and pays on its own schedule. No amount or date is ever promised.
What's the difference between real profit and an estimate?
Limonene computes profit and margin per SKU from the fees, refunds, and adjustments actually posted in your financial-events ledger — not a guess from list price minus assumed fees. It reflects what Amazon actually paid you.
Does Limonene take a cut of what it finds or recovers?
No. Limonene is free during early access, and reimbursement detection isn't a percentage-fee service — unlike a contingency agency, you keep everything Amazon pays out.
Features
How does the AI store manager work?
Limonene Chat (شات ليمونين) is a conversational assistant grounded in your own store's live data — sales, inventory, profit, open insights — powered by Anthropic's Claude, with DeepSeek as a fallback. It answers in Arabic or English and reasons over your data, not a generic Amazon FAQ.
Are Limonene's review requests compliant with Amazon's rules?
Yes. Review requests go through Amazon's own Solicitations API, filtered to the 5–30 day post-delivery eligibility window Amazon requires, and de-duplicated per order so a buyer is never asked twice. It's off by default until you explicitly turn it on.
Does Limonene support e-invoicing for Egypt and Saudi Arabia?
For Egypt: yes, in production — Limonene generates ETA-compliant e-receipts for Amazon orders, and this integration has produced real receipts accepted by the Egyptian Tax Authority. For Saudi Arabia: ZATCA/FATOORA Phase 2 e-invoicing is built and verified end-to-end in a compliance sandbox, not yet run in production — early Saudi sellers are onboarded hands-on by the founder as design partners. Limonene does not claim ZATCA-certified-provider status.
What is the free Amazon account scan?
Connect your Amazon account and Limonene runs its insight engine against your real store data at no cost — no credit card, nothing to cancel. You see exactly what it finds — stockouts, stranded stock, possible reimbursements, a lost Buy Box — before deciding whether to keep using it.
