What this calculator does and does not include
Included: the Amazon.eg referral fee for your category (minimum EGP 5, with Amazon’s published tiering for electronics accessories, wireless, portable audio, jewelry, and grocery), an FBA or Easy Ship fulfillment fee estimate from Amazon’s Egypt rate bands, and optionally the 14% VAT Amazon adds on its fees.
Not included: monthly and long-term storage fees, returns and refund costs, closing fees where they apply, the professional account subscription, advertising, and your inbound shipping. Standard-parcel FBA fees are interpolated inside Amazon’s published band range, so treat the fulfillment number as an estimate within a few EGP.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Amazon Egypt take per sale?
Two main fees: a referral fee that is a percentage of the sale price by category (most categories are between 4% and 15%, minimum EGP 5), plus a fulfillment fee if Amazon handles delivery (FBA from roughly EGP 19.5 per unit for small items, Easy Ship from EGP 45.5 per shipment). VAT at 14% applies on Amazon’s fees. Storage and optional services are extra.
Is this calculator official?
No. It is a free estimate tool built by Limonene from Amazon’s published Egypt rate cards on sell.amazon.eg/pricing, last verified August 2026. Amazon’s own preview in Seller Central is the binding number for a specific listing.
Why is my real margin lower than the calculator says?
Because real selling adds costs the estimate cannot see: returns and refunds without return, storage on slow stock, fee adjustments, advertising, and promotions. Computing profit from the financial events ledger after launch is the only accurate method, and that is what Limonene automates.
Does the calculator work for FBM (self-shipped) sellers?
Yes. Choose Easy Ship to estimate Amazon’s carrier rates, or Self-ship if you deliver with your own carrier, in which case Amazon charges no fulfillment fee and you add your own shipping cost.
